Schmupdate Friday
No news.
No family court hearing done this week.
No DNA authorization obtained.
No info on the baby's doctor appointment yesterday.
Our mother's want to plan a shower for us. When should we plan it? It's hard to plan ahead without knowing when Eliana will come home. Anyone have any suggestions?

We're thinking the same thing. When to have the shower? I am almost thinking of waiting until the baby uis home and have a "welcome" shower. OR, have a shower, but request only gift cards :)
I woudl let them plan it after yoiu have DNA.
Why have you not had authorization yet? There has to be asnwers for that. Maybe it's time you fly to where they are and park outside their door.
I think you should have a shower as soon as you get that letter from Labcorp that says 99.9% and then you should party bigtime with lots of ruffles and pink stuff!!!

I am so sorry about all your delays. I know our shower is planned for Thanksgiving Weekend. I say have it when you WANT to and have lots of PINK and FUN!
I think we're going to wait until the baby is home too. This way the baby gets to be there. It's hard to wait though!
Go ahead and have that shower as soon as you have DNA done. It's hard to plan what size she'll be but there are plenty of other things that you know you'll need. I definately say get in there and register.

I have to agree with Andrea. Either wait until the cutie comes home and you can get accurate sizes and stuff that will be appropriate or get the gift cards so you can buy what you need.
You should have it whenever it feels right to you. But, I would say to wait until after DNA is done.
You can always tell people to not buy any clothing smaller than 9 months and that should be ok. You'll need plenty of other stuff.
Soooo sorry about another no-update update week :( Are they giving you any reasonable explanation as to why you don't have DNA authorization yet??? Or what happened to the Monday FC appt??? Eliana needs to come home, so they need to get it together in Guatemala!!! Hopefully this Friday will be full a good news!!!
