I got Eliana's hair to lay down for about 3 hours today!
Those 2 pics were taken at the beginning of a wedding reception we went to today.
This was her beautiful 'do' by the time we left.
She parties hard, what can I say?

She doesn't know what (who) it means yet, but it sure does make us smile to hear it!
In other news: I can't believe she's going to be a year old in just a few weeks.
Oh! And I forgot to update you all: We went to the doctors this week.
Eliana weighs 14 pounds and 6 oz and she's 25 1/5 inches tall.
When the doctor plots her on the growth charts he says that he thinks she will hit the 3rd percentile. She's not there yet, but he thinks she'll make it. Haha - what high heights we strive for (no pun intended).
Heart surgery: Not until next year, late winter/early spring. The cardio doc wants her to be at least 20 pounds. Our job: keep growing her.

You are doing great at growing her!!! I remember the days when we celebrated every ounce gained -- now Brayden is like a TANK! I cannot wait to take him for his 2-year check up in a few months b/c I am anticipating big numbers on the growth curve :) It's funny to have one kid how couldn't even get near the chart for a while and now to have another who is probably going to re-structure the charts!!!
Jenny: You are going to hate me for this, I love her hair crazy! It is too sweet. I have a funny feeling Sophers hair was like that and her foster mother well shaved her. lol autumn

Sabrina has been doing the dadadada thing since we picked her up - she has no idea what she is saying but Steve LOVES hearing it! For some reason, the only time she makes anything close to the mamamama sound is when she is mad. Ha!
Don't get me wrong, gals - we love the crazy hair, too. When I do manage to make it lay down for awhile I laugh when I look at her because it looks so silly to me. We're just used to the mohawk.

Hey Jenny, use your imagination. I wish i had my camera today and of course I did not. Sophie stayed at gram stella's for awhile today, when I took her she had piggy tails in with build a bear hair bows please don't ask. When I went to pick her up, I looked thourgh the door, where is my daughter I see albert Einstien. No piggy tails, mohawk, bed head, albert all in one. I had to laugh.
She's gorgeous, of course, but I like the halo of crazy hair. She just doesn't look right without it. Love the mohawk!
She's doing GREAT! She's getting bigger each time. Keep giving that baby lots of love and she'll be up to 20 pounds before you know it!

I cannot believe how teenie tiny she is. Miss G weighed in at 14 pounds when she was 4 months old and I'm sure Mr. Massimo has already surpassed that at three months old.

It is hard to believe our girls will be 1 soon.
She is tiny, Madisyn weighs in at 21 pounds and is almost 30 ins tall. So cute the hair..

Word of advice for her first birthday: skip the pinata!

Shes ADORABLE! I am partial to the mohawk! So glad that she is growing and getting bigger!
