A million thanks
to be divied out amongst the following:
Our Moms have been so great to us, buying and making us tons of supplies that we will need when Eliana comes home.
Our friends and families are so supportive! We've gotten thoughtful gifts, supplies for the baby, cash donations and tons of hugs of support.
My imaginary (blog) friends who have sent gifts (Julia), advice, and encouragement.
Of course, the greatest thanks to God for leading us through the tough times towards the joyful reunion of our family.
We are truly humbled by the generosity and love we have received.
WHAT HAVE WE BEEN DOING?
Going nuts.
Our paperwork is all ready, just waiting for our 2 employment verification letters.
We did a lot of shopping this weekend, trying to get the essentials we will need for the first few weeks home with the baby.
Lots of laundry has been done... with lots more to do!
Christmas decorations are making their way to the basement.
General cleaning has begun, but there is a lot left of that and just getting organized to be done. We really were not anticipating the release from PGN to come so quickly, so we had not even come close to getting the nursery (and our whole messy house) ready for this baby! It's coming along.....
We talked to our priest today about Eliana's christening.
They requested the new birth certificate on January 4th. We were told that it could take up to 8 business days to be completed.
Once they get the BC, they can apply for Eliana's passport.
After they get the passport, they can apply for an appointment at the embassy.
When they get us an appointment at the embassy we will be hopping a plane to Guat to bring our baby HOME!!
