More info

Well, there's not a whole lot more info to share right now.
We are just starting. We've sent the app to the agency and are waiting for the next batch of paperwork from them and to update our homestudy. We mail off the I-600 next week. After this batch of paperwork from the agency we get to compile another dossier. This one looks simpler than Guatemala's was. Once all of that is done (I'm hoping by Sept), we wait.
We are requesting a sib group of 2, both under the age of 4. So, we may get a 3 and 4 year old, or we may be matched with a 3/4 year old and an infant. They won't match us with a 2 year old because Eliana will be that age and they want to avoid 'artificial twinning.'
We do realize that we are nuts, hoping for 3 kids under 4 years old.
We know! And we love it! We are so excited, imagining what our lives and household are going to be like with a house full of kids - we can't wait!
But, we have to. The expected wait til referral is up to 1 year. After accepting a referral it will be 2-3 months til we travel to pick up.
Yes, we are going to Ethiopia.
Yes, we are taking Eliana.

We're feeling Ok with the wait, right now. (Remind me I said this when I'm whining about it later). We are having a great time with Eliana, so there's not that crazy I-need-a-family-and-I-need-it-now kind of feeling like some of you other first-time adopters might recall. We're looking forward to this year or so with just her. I'm hoping to get our house and lives and schedules even more organized so that 2 more little ones will be a little easier to adjust to.
We're pretty giddy right now imagining the craziness and fun of it all.
