The week in review...

Eliana had a bit of a cold this week which made for a pretty yucky couple of days. Luckily it didn't last long and she's feeling MUCH better. I felt like a jerk because I had it first and shared it with both E and her dad. We're close like that, sharing everything....
The best news of the week is that my brother is moving home! He moved to SC earlier this year and we have really missed him. Lucky for me, he got a good job offer back here and has decided to move home. Hooray! Really, how could he stand to be away from Eliana for that long anyway? It's not the job offer, it this cute face that brings him home:
Yesterday was our home visit with our social worker. Now she'll be able to write up the homestudy update and we can get this thing movin'! We are still waiting for an appt to get our fingerprints done at USCIS. It's been a month and no word. The SW is going to check on it for us Monday.
Candy bar sales are going strong!
I was looking back at some of my old posts.... when I used to actually write more than just a caption under a cute photo. I'd like to think that I still have a few thoughts in my brain worth sharing/discussing.... I'll try to drag them out more often.

Each time I come here I am amazed by how big she is getting and by how LONG her hair is now! I remember when there was NO hair on that cute little head! I am glad your sales are going well and that you are becoming well on your way down the adoption path again! Is it bringing back memories? LOL!

you're wrong jen...eliana is the most beautiful granddaughter!!! now i'm a little on the bias side....i'm extra glad that pat is on his way home...now he and eliana can develop a great uncle niece relationship that is very important to both of them...he also needs to be home to sell candy bars and go to the air port for our next additions to our family...love ya mom

Hey I hope you don't mind if I post this on here! I looked for your e-mail and I had to go back a while so I thought I would just write you on here! Jenny-- Thank you sooo much for your comment!!!!--- we are good--Thank you for checking on us!!!! ---I am going to post tonight--Things have been a bit crazy because we are thinking about building again--But we just don't know if this the right time for our family and the housing market (we just moved here a year and a half ago) so we have been looking researching and talking to a realtor in between all of that we all caught colds and mine went into my sinuses and chest--so my doctor prescribed an antibiotic -- the pharmacy gave me the generic and I broke out into hives sooo I went back to get the brand and now I feel human again!!! :O) Blogging has gotton away from me the last few weeks and I have to get back to it!!!! Thank you so much for checking on us--you are so sweet!!!!!!!!!!!! I just love you girl and I promise to be a better blogger!!!!!!!!! :O)
