What a great day!

Today was such a great day - I just have to share it right away.
(The rest of this post will not be in rhyme.)

Today both Abigia and Eldana were baptized. It was beautiful! It was done during mass, which I really love. I think it is so special to have special events like that during the mass, so everyone in the church shares in it. Eldana has been excited about this for weeks and was so sweet during the service. At the part where the priest poured the water over her head she had the greatest look of happiness and excitement on her face - just priceless! Abigia didn't really understand what was going on, of course, but shared in the excitement of their 'special day.'

After mass we headed to a nearby park for a party with our family and friends. It was a wonderful afternoon. I am so blessed - friends and family brought all of the food - I didn't have to make a thing! That really allowed me to relax and enjoy the day - THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
The weather was perfect. We all just ate, played and visited with loved ones... it was just a great day. I was on the verge of tears the whole ride home, just replaying all of the sweetness of the day in my mind.

We hardly took any photos but we are counting on others to share the many pictures taken (reminder hint for those of you reading). We'll post some as soon as we can!
