This past weekend we celebrated our 1 year anniversary of meeting Abigia and Eldana in Ethiopia.
We had a great celebration! On Saturday we ate dinner at the Ethiopian restaurant with the other Ethiopian adoptive families we know and that was a great time (as always!). Then we went and played around at a park before we rode one of the inclines up a hill to overlook the city. The kids loved this and thought it was really great. I remember riding this with my dad so it brought up some really nice memories. After this we went to Sarris Candies (the happiest place on Earth) for a giant ice cream sundae for dinner! Tia met us there to help celebrate and believe it or not, the kids loved the whole ice cream-for-dinner thing, too.
It was a really fun day.
What a wild year! Looking back at the old pictures was really fun. The kids have grown so much!
