Officially a S M I T H!!

That's right - they got the birth certificate last Friday, 011207. She now has her new last name and we are listed as her parents! Hooray!
Our attorney is hoping to submit for PINK tomorrow. If she can submit tomorrow we will know on Thursday when our embassy appt is and can make travel arrangements! Chances are good we will travel next week!
For those who haven't done this: Apparently there is a long line at the embassy that the attorneys must wait in to be able to submit any paperwork that needs to be completed. They have to do this to request authorization to do the DNA test and now, when asking for an appointment for our final stuff. Sometimes the attorneys have to go a couple of times before they are able to make it to the front of the line to submit their requests. It seems to be very inefficient - attorneys standing in line hoping to get to the front? Anyway, that's our US Embassy!
Holy moly. Next week is not far away!
