Update Friday
reveals nothing.
We received a very short message containing two phrases, not even complete sentences, saying that they are preparing to enter family court and getting DNA authorization next week.
Great. They told us 2 1/2 weeks ago that they were doing this exact same thing.

This process is tiring and so unpredicatable. Not sure how your agency knows DNA authorization will come through this week. From what I udnerstand, the lawyer submits the file to embassy for authorization and then it is up to embassy when the authorization will occur. It takes anywhere from a few days to a few months to get authorization (with an average of 4-6 weeks). You guys have already been through so much, all the emotional upheaval of Eliana being sick and so far away. I hope you can visit soon and have DNA and FC behind you!
