Easter with Batman

Ok, these are some pictures from way back at Easter that I never got around to posting. My nrother got the girls these Batman pajamas as a gift and they LOVED them. There were many adults crying with laughter that evening as the girls ran from room to room fighting badguys.
These are just a few pictures I grabbed from the bunch. Hilarious.

Eldana ordering 'her people' about

This is the best shot of Abigia's superhero-face ever!

Her weapon of choice? A triangle dinger!

This sums up the event. Eldana told everyone what to do. Abigia marched around the room... patrolling? And Eliana did.. that

super-fun weekend continues

On Saturday we went to a dual high school graduation party for 2 of my cousins. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun. I love my family!

Eldana holding a centipede. She then spent about 10 minutes chasing teenage girls around with it to make them scream. Good times.

Eliana taught a yoga class to some older kids,
and played some golf.

Who knows just what brought this look of disgust to Abigia's face. After the busy day before, she was a bit out of sorts at the picnic.
This pic is from the next day before church. After mass we went to our friends' house for lunch and baseball and chalk drawing and bubble blowing and grass mowing..... another wonderful day.
We are blessed.

Eliana's 3rd birthday picture onslaught

It was a really super-great day!

Eliana's birthday is today!

I can't believe it!
We have big plans for the day that include the Pittsburgh Zoo and a small party with family in the evening.
Today I packed away the Guatemalan wrap that I carried Eliana around in for the longest time. She's just about too big for it now... I teared up as I tucked it away in my room.
This beautiful girl has grown so much in the last year. I love love love her so much! She brings joy to my heart each and every day. Her sweetness melts me to tears on a regular basis.

In lieu of gifts we are asking, again, for donations to Mayan Families. We have everything we need and much more... sadly, many others do not. We try on each of our birthdays to spread the love, and the thanks for the gift of being alive.

I'll be back over the weekend with pictures - I promise!
